Green Light for 'The Ridge'
We are delighted to be part of the award winning design team for 'The Ridge' - a substantial new country home set in 379 acres on the edge of the Cotswolds. The team has award winning Yiangou architects - Ross Sharpe at the helm. Energy Building worked with Ross on the RIBA award winning 'Pavilions' in Shropshire and we are joining forces once again to deliver what will be a vast and groundbreaking example of sustainable country dwelling. The property will be the largest house to be built in the Cotswolds in the last 100 years and is now on the market via 'Knight Frank'. It will feature in 'Country Life' this week and covered in the Sunday Times on Sunday 4th October 2009.
BREEAM assessments from October 2009
From October of this year Energy Building Ltd will be adding BREEAM assessments to our range of professional services. We already offer Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH), SAP, iSBEM, Energy Performance Certificates and along with our core business as Engineering Consultants we see this as our next logical and progressive step towards providing the full package of sustainability consultation for the construction industry.

Sansaw Pavilions gets RIBA Award 2009
We are very proud to have been involved as mechanical, electrical and energy consultants in 'The Pavilions' scheme in Shrewsbury. The buildings fought off tough competition at the 2009 RIBA Awards this year and we are delighted to be part of the winning team. See link below for the list of 2009 Winners.
Our client Mr James Thompson of Sansaw Developments had this to say:
"Energy Building were instrumental in the design of the Mechanical and Electrical systems for the Pavilions at the Sansaw Business Park. Our aim was to make the buildings as energy efficient as possible, by combining excellent design with the best available environmental technologies, we hope these offices will be a benchmark for future office developments. Should we undertake any development in the future, Energy Building will be at the top of our list of consultants to work with. I could not recommend them more highly".

Just off the beaten track, outside the sleepy village of Chirk in North Wales, lies Brynkinalt Estate. Brynkinalt has been the ancestral home of the Trevor family since 924.
Kirtlington Park Estate dates back to the 18th century and was owned by the Dashwood Family until the late 1800's. In 1921 it was bought by the Budgett Family and remains in their ownership.
